Abstract
A major revision of the Hope Creek Generation Station (HCGS) Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) has been performed to provide the following:
-
(1)
An update of the model consistent with the ASME PRA Standard Capability Category II [1]
-
(2)
Incorporation of changes based on the NEI PRA Peer Review
-
(3)
Inclusion of the impact of a 20% Extended Power Uprate (EPU)
-
(4)
Modification of the fire and seismic PRA and integration of them with the internal events analysis
-
(5)
Performance of plant specific MAAP 4 thermal hydraulic analyses to support the updated success criteria, accident sequence timing, and radionuclide release magnitude.
