Abstract
The Space Station program represents one of the most significant challenges from the point of view of Safety. The paper will describe the safety experience matured by Alenia Spazio in the frame of the Space Station program elements with reference to some Safety metrics relevant to the projects, the Safety support to the Mission Control Center and the lessons learnt system developed to support the Safety Engineers.
