Fatigue Determination in Case of Spontaneous Failure Mode

An important basis for the implementation of accelerated testing is to determine the level of fatigue present in components that were used in the field. This paper presents experimental data and parameter studies to determine the level of fatigue of intact but pre-aged components that fail spontaneously.
