Dynamic Reliability Analysis for Automotive Applications

  • Conference paper
Probabilistic Safety Assessment and Management

Abstract

Reliability and safety analysis becomes increasingly important in the development of automotive systems. Additionally to problems that can be treated with classical methods like FMEA or FTA there are applications where it seems to be useful to apply methods of Dynamic Reliability Analysis. An example of a state transition diagram is given that is analysed with Monte Carlo simulation under use of different biasing techniques.
