Abstract

An overview of recent risk management initiatives at the European Space Agency ESA is given. These initiatives include application and development activities in support of the implementation of risk management on ESA space programmes. The overview is presented in two parts. Part 1 deals with the activities of the Product Assurance & Safety Department. Part 2 deals with the activities of the Science Department.
