Availability Assessment of Multi-State Systems with Operational Dependence

Abstract

Operational dependencies often exist between the configuration of a multi-state system and the states of its components. In this paper, we analyse, within a Monte Carlo simulation framework, the effect that such operational dependencies may have on the availability behaviour of a multi-state system.
