Abstract
In Chapter 14 we introduced the concept of arrays and provided some examples of their use. We showed that PHP supports both single and multi-dimensional array types. But that is not the end of the story. You can see that the PHP function library contains a large number of functions to help you manipulate your arrays easily. In this chapter we shall introduce some of these functions and illustrate how they can be used to assist you in your programming.
