Abstract

A 41-year-old male admitted on at least two occasions to Emergency Department with malaena and a significant drop in Hb. Upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy were normal. On his third admission with further malaena a CT of the abdomen and pelvis (Images 1a and b) and an isotope-labelled red cell scan (Image 2) were performed.
