Abstract

A 37-year-old female was assessed in the Emergency Department following a road traffic accident. She had an altered level of consciousness and bruising to her abdomen. Further evaluation was made by MDCT including her head and chest, abdomen and pelvis. The head CT showed no intracranial haemorrhage or ­evidence of fracture.
