Optimum design of vertical pump for avoiding the reed frequency

Abstract

Reed frequency that occurred during the motor operation in vertical cargo pump is important factor to control the limitation of operation speed. If the reed frequency has no consideration for motor in vertical cargo pump design, it may be impossible to design the operation design of vertical cargo pump. Therefore, in this paper, the optimization design of pump has done with common analysis programs to avoid the reed frequency resonance. And then the results are compared and analyzed.
