Part of the Algebra and Applications book series (AA, volume 13)

The purpose of this chapter is to assemble the geometric properties of Y and of the action of G×(μ q+1⋊〈Fmon) which allows us to calculate its -adic cohomology (as a module for the monoid G×(μ q+1⋊〈Fmon)). A large part of this chapter is dedicated to the construction of quotients of Y by the actions of the finite groups G, U and μ q+1.
