NUTMEG scripting language
SPICE OPUS has a built-in scripting language called NUTMEG. NUTMEG is a SPICE specific language developed at Berkeley as part of the SPICE3 software . The NUTMEG in SPICE OPUS is an extended version of the original Berkeley NUTMEG. All commands that are entered in the command window are, in fact, NUTMEG commands. NUTMEG is also the language of the .control block, which is an optional part of the netlist. The initialization script (spinit) that is run at SPICE startup is also written in NUTMEG.
A NUTMEG session can be closed by issuing the quit command. The command is affected by the noaskquit variable. If this variable is set, the session is exited immediately after the quit command is issued. Otherwise, the user may be asked for a confirmation.
If the quit command appears in the control block or in a script, the session that loaded that particular netlist or script file is closed.
