Abstract

Retransplantation (RETX) has worse results on graft survival if compared with 1st Liver transplantation (OLT). Recent data (6/1996) about 1st OLT from European Registry (ELTR) report 1 and 5 years survival rates of 70 and 59% respectively, compared to 47, 44, 39% and 39, 33, 32% at 1 and 5 years after 1st, 2nd and 3rd RETX respectively. As long survival after transplantation is achieved, the rate of RETX long time after the 1st OLT is increasing. We reviewed the results of RETX in our patients (patients).
