Abstract
Trembling, Mr. Madigan opens the door of his home to Dr. Harrison. Mr. Madigan’s wife Mary is deathly ill with fever and shortness of breath. Dr. Harrison examines her, diagnoses pneumonia, and drives her to a small-town hospital in the next county.
