Abstract
Performing work can have consequences for the health of a worker. In this chapter six aspects of the health of the work force will be discussed in turn: (1) opinions about one’s own health, (2) medical consumption, (3) sickness absence, (4) employment disability, (5) occupational diseases, (6) accidents at work. The groups at risk (by age, sex and industry and the developments over time will be dealt with in turn.
