Wave Active Filters

  • Lars Wanhammar

Wave active filters represent another approach, proposed by H. Wupper and K. Meerkötter [142, 143], to simulate LC filters where the components are described using waves. That is, instead of using the port current and voltage to describe a port, incident and reflected waves are used. The incident and reflected waves are a linear combination of current and voltage. Hence, we have performed a linear coordinate transformation from the variables current and voltage to incident and reflected waves.
