Integrated optical circuits (IOC) are components which group several optical and optoelectronic functions on the same chip. The main application area of such devices is the telecommunication networks with optical fibers. Now, IOC are used in the aeronautical or car industry, computers, medical instrumentation for the fabrication of data transfer networks, decision command or sensors.
