In the preceding chapters, we have shown tables, figures, statistics, concepts, theories, predictions, and concerns about future trajectories affected by human intervention and climate change. These convey some of the dimensions of the reality of marine seascapes as we move into the twenty-first century. There is far more to be perceived about natural environments than could be communicated by the various graphical devices and paragraphs.
