Charles Kowal has found his place. Surrounded by nature, far away from the big city, with a magnificent view of Mount St. Helens and Mount Rainier. A beautiful house on Mayfield Lake in Cinebar, a small village in the state of Washington. Peace and quiet. And a lot of space. But Kowal does not live there alone. His self-built robots keep him company. He programs them from his computer and tracks their movements on television, where the images recorded by their miniature color cameras appear on the screen.
