Metadata and Semantics

A description of the designing of a special DTD (Document Type Definition) for the scientific method is reported and an analysis of the creation of a DTD according to the separation that T.Pappas gives in his book Methodology of 4 scientific research in the humanism is presented. According to this separation the researching process consists of five levels: the subject selection, the strategy designation for the development of study, the collection and indexing of bibliographical material, the evaluation and classification of bibliographic material and the process and writing of study. Each level is part in sublevels in proportion with the separation that is already given in the book. In the second chapter of the paper we describe the methodology followed in order to create the DTD. We conclude by proposing future plans which will enrich, organize and develop further the already existing DTD.
