Induced Magnetomotive Forces Method for Analysis of Coupling Slots in Waveguides

While applying the moments and Galerkin’s methods (see Sect. 1.4) to analyze single and multi-slot elements of the coupling of electrodynamic volumes, different basis and weight functions can be used: the piecewise [2.6], the piecewise linear and piecewise sinusoidal [4.1], the trigonometric [2.7, 2.8, 4.2, 4.3] and Gegenbauer polynomials [4.4].
