Abstract

While cleaning out the freezer, have you ever found some really old food that no longer looks edible? Perhaps, some raspberries have frosted over inside the bag to form a huge berry-filled ice cube or a steak has developed an ashy, dull brown color. These foods are victims of freezer burn, the nemesis of foods stored too long in the freezer.
