Choroidal Melanoma

GP is a 55-year-old woman who presented for a routine eye examination. She stated that for years she had not seen quite as well in her left eye as her right and noticed some floaters against a non-contrast background, such as a blue sky or white wall. Her visual acuity was measured at 20/20 OD and 20/30 OS. Ophthalmoscopy found moderately dense asteroid hyalosis in the left eye and the fundus was poorly seen.
