Optic Nerves in Pseudotumor Cerebri

JB is a 42-year-old woman with a history of obesity and increasingly severe headaches over several months. She also complained of transient gray-outs of vision in her right eye when she stood up. These had increased over a month to several times a day and lasted 15 to 25 seconds at a time. Examination by an ophthalmologist documented mild elevation of the right optic nerve more than the left and blurring of both disc margins.
