Optic Nerve Drusen

CJ is a 27-year-old woman who had a long history of migraine-like headaches and had noticed an increase in severity and frequency over the past few months. She was seen by her primary care doctor and told, “everything was normal except for mild hypertension.” A low dose of hydrochorothiazide was started, and she was advised to see her eye doctor to eliminate an ocular cause for her symptoms.
