Abstract
This paper presents a platform to interconnect an IN node (SCP) to other communication networks (Internet) in order to introduce new IN services and extend capabilities of existing ones. The experimental platform presented is based on standard industrial hardware and software components. A hypothetical case study illustrates the versatility of the various interfaces provided by the platform.
