Microoptical Beam Shaping for Supershort-Pulse Lasers

  • Chapter
Microoptics

Part of the book series: Springer Series in Optical Sciences ((SSOS,volume 97))

Abstract

One of the most exciting ideas in the field of modern optics is the combination of microoptical components with ultrashort laser pulses. In this way, the specific advantages of both (miniaturization in spatial dimensions and localization in time) can be exploited for novel-type devices.
