Abstract
In the previous chapters estimation statements about a parameter θ took the form of nested sets of likelihood intervals. Of course, in many cases upper or lower bounds, or some other feature, of θ will be of particular interest, and so may be quoted separately. But they are all obtainable from the likelihood intervals.
