Abstract
In this chapter selected examples of applications are presented. While it can be demonstrated that there is at least one example for each fundamental solution shown prior to this chapter, only a finite number may be selected by reason of space and time available. To an extent, examples are implicit in Chapter 2. It remains for the reader to judge the true potential of the fundamental solutions in solving problems involving surfaces, surface layers, and interfaces. Indeed, it may be readily seen that there ought to have been more fundamental solutions presented. This eventuality is considered not only a probability but also a certainty.
