Abstract
Nonlinear dynamics is a branch of mathematics that deals with rhythms in nonlinear equations. There is an emphasis on qualitative aspects of dynamics. For example, does a particular set of equations display a steady state, a cycle, or a more complex rhythm? For what range of parameters are the rhythms stable? When the rhythms become unstable, what new rhythms are observed?
