Abstract
This chapter addresses the anatomy and the biomechanical aspects of the anatomy of the medial side of the knee within the narrow context of medial knee ligament injuries associated with posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) sprains. As such, it is not an all-encompassing discourse, but rather is intended to provide the clinician with the salient background requisite for managing this specific injury entity.
