Friday I have been up to Harley Street again to see my specialist. He is most awfully pleased with me, and says everything has gone perfectly from start to finish. Of course it isn’t healed up yet, so I have to put a light plug of cotton wool in the worst side, when I go out. He says the jolly old nose will be rather more aristocratic in shape, a little thinner, when all the swelling and irritation has gone down. I went to my office today also. Of course I’ve been doing a certain amount of work all the time, and have had the good fortune to have a most priceless brain wave — while in bed one night, I was worrying over a certain part of my new structure for Airships, and I got this idea, dimly, in bed.
