Abstract
Some organizations perform a scaled-down version of job evaluation in order to examine a few jobs; in some cases, an organization may only have a limited number of different jobs. In both cases, it may be desirable to simplify the process of job evaluation, and rather than using a standard point-factor methodology, the human resources department adopts what is known as a paired-comparison methodology.
