Abstract
The preceding chapters of this book describe what happens when therapy progresses seemingly without too many problems or obstacles. However, many therapists fear what is almost inevitable: that one day they will encounter a client who poses an issue or event with which they are not adequately prepared to handle. This chapter attempts not only to alleviate that fear but to change the perspective about feeling stuck altogether.
