Abstract

In this paper we shall present a comparison of the performance of a unsteady, interactive flow solver implemented via PVM to the performance of the same solver implemented via multithreading. Based on these results a programming method used to implement such CFD-codes for distributed memory machines with symmetric multi-processing nodes is constructed.
