Diese Methode bietet sich damit als Alternative zu einer Nierenautotransplantation oder Anwendung eines Darminterponates bei langstreckigen Harnleiterengen an, bei denen ein Boari-Lappen oder Psoas-Hitch-Verfahren nicht angewendet werden kann.
