Abstract
The long-time self-diffusion coefficient D s is calculated to first order in the volume fraction φ for a model of a water-in-oil microemulsion. The model contains the hard-core repulsion, an attractive square-well potential due to the overlap of surfactant tails and the hydrodynamic interactions. The calculation is based on the solution of the Smoluchowski equation.
