Abstract
We describe our suite of design tools tailored for systems with reconfigurable hardware that are intended to be configured by the end user. The reconfigurable system will consist of one or more FPGAs and a number of fixed hardware devices, such as A/D converters and SRAM. We focus on the development of the hardware library functions needed to interface the FPGAs to such fixed hardware devices. We also describe a digital oscilloscope which was implemented with our tools.
