Case-based reasoning particularly studies how expertise takes advantage from experience. The case-based reasoner presented in this paper is applied to the clinical expertise of eating disorders in psychiatry. Its peculiarity is to be able to reason from different points of view. Each point of view is associated with one of the various cognitive tasks it can perform, among which are diagnosis, treatment and clinical research.
