Abstract

Life* ADA is an Ada Programming Support Environment (APSE) which takes the meaning of openness seriously. Ada development within Life*ADA may be based on any preferred Ada compiler system such as DACS and SunAda. But even more importantly, Life* ADA supports simultaneous use of several Ada compilers. Besides the flexibility with respect to choice of compiler system, Life*ADA may be extended with facilities for configuration management, requirements analysis, setting up designs, establishing requirements traces, generating documents, etc. Thus, Life*ADA may be extended to support the entire software development life cycle.
