The Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with scalar, pseudoscalar, vector and axialvector mesons: Solitonic solutions and nucleon properties

Abstract

We solve the NJL model with SU(2)-flavour and σ and \(\vec \pi\)- couplings for a baryonic system consisting of N c = 3 valence quarks and the polarized Dirac sea. Solitonic solutions are found, from which various nucleon observables can be calculated. For the first time we present also solitonic solutions of an extended NJL model including ω, \(\vec \rho and \vec A_1\) mesonic couplings.
