Asymptotic dominance of diquarks in some exclusive hard reactions

Multiple scattering processes dominate quark counting ones in hadronic exclusive reactions at large transfer. We survey currently available evidence for the importance of these processes at present energies. In the case of fixed angle MB → MB and \(B\bar B \to MM'\) reactions, this implies that dynamics selects baryons which exhibit a quark — diquark pattern.
