Abstract

The quark-diquark picture of baryons, as emerged from a perturbative description of exclusive hadronic processes at a few GeV of momentum transfer, is reviewed. Various reactions already treated within the diquark model are discussed. Special emphasis is put on Compton scattering off protons and photoproduction of mesons.
