Space VLBI and the masers

Cosmic masers are among the highest brightness temperature sources in the sky and so are natural targets for space VLBI - or are they? The limitations of space VLBI for maser research, both natural and technical are discussed. Finally some possible maser projects for the two ongoing space VLBI projects will be discused.
