Abstract
A new model for electroweak and strong interactions based on observed particles only is proposed. The strong sector of this model is determined by the spontaneously broken SU(6) gauge group, which naturally arises from analysis of properties of observed vector mesons. In the low energy region the model shares properties of the Vector Dominance Model whereas in the high energy region the strong sector of the model is asymptotically free. The model gives approximately the same results as the Standard Model in the electroweak sector and provides a. natural framework for a reliable description of lepton-hadron and hadron-hadron interactions.
