Abstract

The theoretical importance and practical relevance of the need for control schemes for sandwich nonlinear systems has been the prime motivation for the research done in this work. The need to develop control schemes for multivariable sandwich nonlinear systems with joint flexibility and damping was a motivating factor as well. The problem of actuator failure compensation for systems with nonsmooth nonlinearities has also been addressed.
