Abstract

Query answering on the Web can be enhanced both in effectiveness and efficiency by using iq-criteria. The main contribution of this thesis is to bring together the concept of answering queries in mediator-based information systems and the concept of information quality. Having introduced the two in Parts Iand IIresp ectively, we combine them in this part.
