Abstract

The H filtering for 1-D systems has been extensively studied in the past two decades; see, for example, [80][88][97] and the references cited therein. While in the 2-D case, to the best of our knowledge, little work has been done apart from an earlier discussion of 2-D H problem [78]. Similar to the 1-D case, the 2-D Bounded Real Lemma developed in Chapter 2 allows us to tackle the 2-D H filtering problem based on a Riccati inequality or an LMI approach.
