Abstract

This paper proposes a window-based connection scheduling technique for web server with static HTTP/1.1 objects. The method is based on the shortest connection first principle and schedules web documents dynamically according to the number of inlined-documents of the shortest connection. The simulation study shows that the proposed method greatly improves the server performance.
