Abstract

One of the distinctive features of embedded systems is that they need to control external hardware. In the case of embedded control systems, this consists of external sensors and actuators. The AOCS Framework uses the term AOCS units to designate a piece of equipment that is external to the AOCS computer but is part of the AOCS system.
